Can you explain how you used the B1G1′s on the juice in combination with the other q’s. There was also another post with the Hamburger Helper deal that I didn’t understand. Thanks!
Melanie,
Sure, that is what we are here for and thank you for your question.
Let’s break it down further, we purchased 4 juice that were on sale B1G1 in Alabama (Alabama stores are not true B1G1 stores, the B1G1 sales ring up 1/2 price). If you need me to explain Florida stores let me know but for this example we are shopping at the Alabama Publix stores.
Each item gets a $x/1 coupon:
#1 Juice B1G1 = $1.93
#2 Juice B1G1 = $1.92
#3 Juice B1G1 = $1.93
#4 Juice B1G1 = $1.92
-B1G1 coupon (attaches to free item we bought #1 so we get #2 for free) = -$1.93 deducted from register
-B1G1 coupon (attaches to free we bought #3 so we get #4 for free) = -$1.93 deducted from register
-$.55/1 coupon for #1
-$.55/1 coupon for #3
You can use a $x/1 item when using a B1G1 coupon and buying two products. The value of a coupon has nothing to do with what is on sale. You walk out of the store with two items you can use two coupons ($x/1 or B1G1). All of these happened to be manufacture coupons, you can also use up to 4 $x/1 store/competitor coupons.

I would like to know how the deal works in Fl. please…. I worked the election polls all day , then came home to find the post about the sale, so I printed my q’s but they were out of the cherry flavors so I got a rain check : D (Yay for me, cause tomorrow I can get a couple more q’s printed somewhere else) so, How will it work? My raincheck is for 5 deals. They are B1G1 for $3.95. Thanks, I want to know what to expect price wise. Here, ( Pensacola – M. H .store) wont one ring up at $3.95 and the other for 0? then I will get both free? Thx for explaining.
Cyndi,
Yeah You! Sweet rain check.
There is a tip on where to find the Healthy Lifestyles coupon books on the Frugal Fairhope Forum, you are going to want these books for the Ocean Spray coupons!
Here is the example of buying 4 in Florida (true B1G1 stores, ring up both at full price then they take off one full price for the sale).
Each item gets a $x/1 coupon
#1 Juice B1G1 = $3.95
#2 Juice B1G1 = $3.95
-$3.95 #2 Juice Sale
#3 Juice B1G1 = $3.95
#4 Juice B1G1 = $3.95
-$3.95 #4 Juice Sale
-$3.95 B1G1 coupon (attaches to #1)
-$3.95 B1G1 coupon (attaches to #3)
-$.55/1 coupon for #2
-$.55/1 coupon for #4
Final Price: Free plus $1.10 money maker (with $.55 coupons, just free without)..
