No one can stay in a good mood all the time. What we can do is recognize our bad mood and immediately try and change it. This could be thinking of something happy, looking at photos, or doing something that will change your mood. Life can be good sometimes and sometimes it can really throw some curve balls at you. When we find life is not going like we like, we like to give “happies” to put ourselves in a good mood. Helping other people and seeing those results will put us in a good mood no matter what kind of day we have had.

Kids starting a new school year will be here before we know it. With that comes the cost of school supplies. We have been providing a list of all the school supply deals we could find almost every day (right side bar “Frugal Fairhope Thoughts” for the latest deals). We thought it might be fun to collect those school supplies in the next couple weeks and do a giveaway for our readers.

We do reviews of a lot of products on Frugal Fairhope. When it came to an opportunity to try some Barilla pasta products we jumped at it. We frequently use the Barilla pasta and Pasta sauces in our own home. We received a gift package in the mail from Barilla. They included free pasta and recipes for us to try and tell you about here. Our favorite recipe was the Zita alla Pastora. This quick and simple recipe has very few ingredients which is great for our family that is always on the go.
