CVS offers an Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) program. Get an application and CVS card at your local CVS store. Use your card for every purchase at CVS.  CVS ECBs program is one of the easiest and straightforward programs. You can use ECBs to purchase just about anything in the CVS store. You will receive discounts, coupons, and a % back every quarter on the purchases made in the store.

You will find the ECBs offers and deals posted on Frugal Fairhope every week, which start on Sunday and end on Saturday. We list our CVS deals as follows:

Here are some additional tips.

• One household can have two CVS Extra Care Card? You and your significant other can have a card. So this will double your savings.

• CVS ECBs will roll. You can use ECBs to pay for a transaction and receive ECBs for the items you purchased.

• You can use store coupons, Glove Box coupons, manufacturer coupons, pay for your transaction with ECBs and receive ECBs in one transaction.

• If the cashier has the time, you can do more than one transaction in your trip and use the ECBs to pay for the next purchase.

• CVS gives you back 2% on your purchases. Every quarter your ECBs will print after your purchase receipt.

• ECBs must be greater than the purchase amount, no change can be given.

• Always scan your card at the kiosk if your store has one.

• You can print your ECBs on your online account.

• Purchase a CVS Green Green Tag for $.99, attach it to your reusable bag, and scan with your CVS card to get $1 ECBs for every forth time you use your reusable shopping bag and scan your card. You can find these tags on the end caps or located near the register.

• Did you know that you can use your ECBs and ECB coupons when ordering products on line at CVS.com? Use your coupons and rewards when you shop online. Here is the information from the site:If you are an ExtraCare cardholder, you know just how rewarding it can be to use the card every time you shop. And now you can take advantage of your Extra Bucks® when you shop online. In your Shopping Cart, click on the Use Coupons/ExtraCare Rewards button at the bottom of the page to apply online coupons and/or ExtraCare Rewards to your purchase. Just enter the relevant codes and your ExtraCare card number in the appropriate section of the Rewards and Coupons page. The coupon value cannot exceed the total value of merchandise in your Shopping Cart.

• You can print your ECBs coupons on your online account.

• ECBs are treated as cash in CVS stores but they must be greater than the purchase amount, no change can be given. ECBs also have an expiration date of 3-4 weeks.

• Always offer up the store coupons first then the manufactures coupons. When shopping at CVS always hand the cashier your CVS card first then CVS dollar off transaction coupons, CVS store coupons/manufacturer coupons, and then finally your ECBs.
