Frances Frugal Fairhope Tip: $6.01 Rite Aid Money Maker

We made this purchase at the Fairhope Rite Aid this afternoon and not only got it for free but we made $6.01. “Working” Rite Aid deals are the easiest thing, their rebate system is top notch in our humble opinion. No mailing in forms, receipts, UPC codes, addressing envelopes, or remembering to mail or request your rebate, it really is very simple. Here are the items we purchased from the Rite Aid 1/31 Deals:

Once you have set up Rite Aid Single Check Rebate (SCR) account you can qualify for the rebates. Here is the link to get started. This form is very simple, name address, create user name and password. Once you have set up your user name and password you can access your rebate account and start entering in receipts for your purchase. You can only set up one Rite Aid rebate account per address.
Once you have made your purchase, you only need 4 things from your receipt to qualify for a Single Check Rebate:
- Store Number
- Register Number
- Transaction Code
- Date of Transaction

All this information is at the very top of your receipt. After you have entered your receipt, forget about it… You don’t have to do anything else, just sit back and they will send you a confirmation that your receipt has been received, they will send you an email that let’s you know that you have qualified for a rebate, then at the end of the rebate period they will send you an email letting you know that a check has been issued and sent to your home. The rebate comes in form of a check that can be cashed at any bank.
You will find the Rite Aid deals every week on Frugal Fairhope, which start on Sunday and end on Saturday. We list our Rite Aid deals as follows:
Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste 4oz $2.99
-$2 SCR #3
-$1 coupon 1/13 SS
-$1 February All You
Final Price: Free - $.50
When you see “-$2 SCR #3″ this tells you that there is a Single Check Rebate for $2 and the number of the rebate is 3. If you went to the Rite Aid Single Check Rebate site and clicked on Rebate List and entered “3″ into the Description field you would find that Single Check Rebate #3 is for the Colgate Toothpaste rebate of $2. You could also enter “Colgate” and it will give you three rebates that involve a Colgate purchase.
Each rebate description will give you the following information:
- February 2010 = Month of rebate
- Rebate #3 = Rebate Number
- Valid from 01/24/10 to 02/27/10 = Time Frame of Offer (Rebate Period)
- $2.00 Rebate = Value of the Rebate
Colgate Toothpaste = What the Rebate is for - Purchase One (1): Total Advanced or Total Enamel Strength, 4 oz. = How to Qualify
- LIMIT ONE (1) $2.00 REBATE = Other limitations on the rebate
As mentioned above with the purchase of Colgate you could qualify for up to two rebates with a single purchase. The single tube of Colgate 4.0 oz could qualify for two rebates, if those rebate terms were met through the rebate period. We have already qualified for SCR #3 and our purchase counts as qualifying for SCR #552. SCR # 552 is for a $10 Rite Aid Gift Card WYB $25 in qualifying items. The Colgate value of $2.99 for our purchase above is deducted from the $25. If we purchase another $22.01 in any of the other products listed in SCR #64 (before 3/27/10) we would get a $10 Rite Aid Gift Card at the end of the rebate period. Frugal Fairhope calls this Stacking Rebates. Stacking rebates means you qualify for more than one rebate with the purchase of one item. The full $2.99 value of the item purchased is before coupons. So even though we used a $1 coupon to purchase the Colgate, the rebate does not consider the coupon.
