Don’t panic and don’t toss those expired ECBs. They may have some life left in them yet.

We have personally confirmed this with two stores in our local area; they WILL accept expired ECBs as long as you redeem them BEFORE the sale ends that week. For example if your ECBs expire today, you “technically” have until midnight Saturday night to redeem them. Let a Sunday pass on those expired ECBs and you are out of luck. There is one other condition, you have to follow Mamo’s advice and be nice when you ask if they will take them before you get to the register.

Note: There is nothing written that supports this, it is our experience and experience of other readers. CVS does have the right to refuse this to anyone, just wanted to give you a heads up just in case the ECBs expiration dates it slipped your mind. We would not advise doing this all the time or they may stop doing it all together.
