Rite Aid Single Check Rebate (SCR)

Rite Aid has a rebate program called SCR, Rite Aid Single Check Rebate.  This rebate program gives you a rebate for purchases made at Rite Aid. A check is mailed to directly to your home. Similar to the Staples rebate program this is an electronic rebate system so you don’t have to mail in your receipts.

The value of the rebate does not change because you used a coupon in your transaction. Using a coupon to pay for an item that gives you a 100% rebate at the end of the month will result in a money maker.

Once you have set up Rite Aid Single Check Rebate (SCR) account you can qualify for the rebates. Here is the link to get started to create your account. This form is very simple, name address, create user name and password. Once you have set up your user name and password you can access your rebate account and start entering receipts for your purchases. You can only set up one Rite Aid rebate account per household address.

Once you have made your purchase, you only need 4 things from your receipt to qualify for a Single Check Rebate:

  1. Store Number
  2. Register Number
  3. Transaction Code
  4. Date of Transaction

All this information is at the very top of your receipt. After you have entered your receipt, forget about it… You don’t have to do anything else, just sit back and they will send you a confirmation that your receipt has been received, they will send you an email that let’s you know that you have qualified for a rebate, then at the end of the rebate period they will send you an email letting you know that a check has been issued and sent to your home. The rebate comes in form of a check that can be cashed at any bank. An important thing to remember is that you can only request one rebate check per month. We seriously sit back and let Rite Aid issue the checks at the end of the month and not request the check early.

You will find the Rite Aid deals posted on Frugal Fairhope every week, which start on Sunday and end on Saturday. We list our Rite Aid deals as follows:

Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste 4oz $2.99
-$2 SCR #3
-$1 coupon 1/13 SS
-$1 February All You
Final Price: Free – $.50

Using the example above the “-$2 SCR #3″ this tells you that there is a Single Check Rebate for $2 and the number of the rebate is 3. If you went to the Rite Aid Single Check Rebate site and clicked on Rebate List and entered “3″ into the Description field you would find that Single Check Rebate #3 is for the Colgate Toothpaste rebate of $2. You could also enter “Colgate” and it will give you three rebates that involve a Colgate purchase.
Each rebate description will give you the following information:

  • February 2010 = Month of rebate
  • Rebate #3 = Rebate Number
  • Valid from 01/24/10 to 02/27/10 = Time Frame of Offer (Rebate Period)
  • $2.00 Rebate = Value of the Rebate
Colgate Toothpaste = What the Rebate is for
  • Purchase One (1): Total Advanced or Total Enamel Strength, 4 oz. = How to Qualify
  • LIMIT ONE (1) $2.00 REBATE = Other limitations on the rebate

Sometimes you could qualify for more than one rebate with a single purchase. The single tube of Colgate 4.0 oz could qualify for two rebates, if those rebate terms were met through the rebate period. For example you could receive a rebate for the purchase of the tube of Colgate but there could be an additional Rite Aid rebate WYB $20 in oral care in which the Colgate would qualify.  We call this Stacking Rebates. Stacking rebates means you qualify for more than one rebate with the purchase of one item.
