We get this question a lot especially from those that have seen our little house. We would never claim to be “masters” of anything, especially organizing but living in a small home comes with a need to keep everything in its place. No wasted space. We have found that a larger home means you not only have more “stuff” (that you don’t use but collect) to clean but you are more likely to close the door to the “mess” instead of keeping up with the “mess”.

One of the ways we save space is to change how things are stored. This is our stockpile of dish washing detergent that is stored under the sink. The container on the top stays open to keep it convenient to grab and go.  Once we have gone through the first container we know that it is time to start looking for another dish washing deal.
